Rydweld secures foothold in Mackay

One of North Queensland’s fastest growing custom bullbar, tray and vehicle accessories fabricators has established a stronger presence in North Queensland, with Rydweld Motor Body Builders inking a deal to see TJM Mackay become their exclusive agent between St Lawrence and Bowen, and west to Winton.

The Townsville-based, family-owned business has taken huge strides in the last 12 months securing agents all over Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Co-owner Geoff Ryder said securing the partnership with TJM Mackay would be of huge benefit to everyone.

“Mackay has a large untapped market, with people often having to travel to Brisbane or Townsville for the customisations they want,” said Mr Ryder.

“We’ve already seen a lot of interest in our products among both businesses and the public in the Mackay region, so to be able to partner with TJM Mackay to better service the market has been a real priority for quite some time.

“To have TJM Mackay out there championing our custom-built trays, bullbars and accessories; and servicing the stations, the mines and the travellers in the North means a great deal to our business and to us personally.”

TJM Mackay Customer Sales Representative Danette Trueman said the partnership had come about after a noticeable demand for the local products from customers.

“The partnership with Rydweld is not just expanding on what we at TJM can offer our customers, but also ensures that we continue to provide the highest quality products to the region,” Ms Trueman said.

“I’ve been part of TJM Mackay for 15 years now, everyone at TJM are great people to work with, and it’s really fulfilling being able to help the people of Mackay and outlying areas transform their stock-standard vehicles into the cars of their dreams.

“Rydweld products are well-known for their excellence, and add another option for us to be able to provide the solution our clients are looking for.”
